Coffee Trailer Team Member

Zaca Coffee is seeking an individual to work in the trailer to serve coffee and light food items. Candidate does not have to have Barista experience but be willing to learn all aspects of making and serving coffee and other drinks! The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, customer facing setting and have a passion for sharing coffee!  The candidate will be willing to jump into this new project and help grow this new venture for Zaca Coffee.

Work setting

• Hours of trailer operation: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 1 pm.  
• Trailer will be regularly parked in Buellton CA near a playground and community skate area. 
• Special weekend events and pop-ups as scheduled.
• Trailer is totally self-sufficient powered by a generator with on-board water supply.

Job overview: 

• Must be available 6:30 am - 1 pm at least three days/week. 
• Must be comfortable handling money and POS system in a fast-paced setting following company SOPs and standards of service.  
• Must be comfortable lifting at least 25 lbs, climbing up and down steps to trailer, and willing to learn new skills within the coffee service setting. 
• Must be willing to assist in coffee making, managing machines and supporting trailer team with set-up, break down.
• Requires patience and problem-solving attitude.  
• Requires following health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation.

Compensation is hourly (starting rate $17), plus additional tips. 

 Benefits include free coffee during shifts (!), staff discounts on all roasted coffee and merchandise, accrued PTO after initial 6 months, and more as company grows.
